But something that is becoming more prevalent with Nintendo is for them to release ports of other AAA games. This certainly hasn't been a bad strategy, as iconic franchises like Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Pokemon have been responsible for millions of console sales. Since the NES, Nintendo has always relied on its own IPs to sell its consoles.
